Legendary Folk Singer Pete Seeger Dead at 94

Legendary folk singer — and tireless activist — Pete Seeger passed away at a hospital last night in New York. He was 94  years old. We’re remembering his legacy as the “father of American folk music” with a few videos: Three quickies of him performing at World Café Live last May that were just posted on YouTube, and another of him singing “This Land Is Your Land” with Bruce Springsteen at the “We Are One” Presidential Inaugural Concert in 2009. You can also listen to Springsteen’s homage to Seeger in this clip from NPR’s World Cafe.
