Who’s the Next Victim on Smack Cam? A video  of two students smacking their classmates at John Paul Jones Middle Scool in Port Richmond hit Youtube yesterday. One of the eighth graders filmed the incident with his cell phone while a teacher was in the room. [FOX 29]

Female Parx Jockey Files Sexual Harassment Suit. A 23-year-old female jockey at Parx Casino in Bucks County has filed a lawsuit against a male jockey alleging he made multiple sexual advances toward her while she was showering in the female jockey room. [Inquirer]

N.J. Can Leave Kids Behind. President Obama is giving 10 states free passes on the No Child Left Behind Act and Jersey is one of them. This means that Jersey doesn’t have to have all of its students sufficient in reading in math by 2014, but does have to provide a viable replacement plan to bring its students up to speed in those areas.
