HughE Dillon: The Cupcake Lady’s Center City Sale

Plus a Rittenhouse Row party and Ben Franklin eats local

Philadelphia made negative national news again this week when the city confiscated the Cupcake Lady’s Truck on Tuesday. But on Wednesday, the Cupcake Lady, Kate Carrara, was back in business at the Mayor’s Farmer Market at Love Park, after her husband Andy paid the $200 fine to get the truck back. For now Carrara will pay better attention to where her licenses allow her to sell her popular sweets.
