Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life. So, you want your ceremony and reception to look and feel like a true representation of yourself and your relationship. While you and your partner are obviously the stars of the show, you really need a backdrop that sets the scene for your celebration. A great place to start? Cescaphe. For the past decade or so Cescaphe has been the king of all-things-wedding in Philadelphia—and for good reason. With six stunning venues and an expertise in crafting an unforgettable experience, they help more than 1,000 couples a year make their wedding day dreams a reality.

While all Cescaphe venues have their charm, their latest venture, The Lucy might just be one of  Philadelphia’s most beautiful. Named after founder Joe Volpe’s late mother, The Lucy encapsulates a timeless elegance meets modern luxury—perfectly suited for any bride and groom’s style. Here are just some of the features that make The Lucy look and feel so special:

Nestled in a new part of town for Cescaphe, The Lucy claims the high-energy corner of Broad and Locust. Expansive windows throughout the venue overlook the Avenue of the Arts, allowing partygoers to keep a pulse on the action and excitement of the city and pose for the perfect picture. The late-night views of City Hall cannot be beat.

Art-Deco Décor

The Art-Deco inspired décor set an elegant sophisticated scene without feeling stuffy. Simple enough to suit any color palette, but beautiful and detailed enough to be memorable, the space provides the perfect backdrop for any couple’s wedding ceremony and soiree. Some of the décor highlights include gilded brass chandeliers, marble accents, white brick walls and chevron wood floors.

Anyone who’s been to a Cescaphe wedding knows they’re in for a night of mouthwatering meals and delicious drinks. The Lucy keeps with that high standard and offers custom dining options full of food trends and seasonally-inspired fare. The cocktail hour (held on the stunning second floor mezzanine) includes top shelf spirits, a chilled seafood bar, two chef-attended action stations and butlered hors d’oeuvres. Come dinner, it’s a three-course sit down meal before the nights capped off with a dessert spread like nothing you’ve ever seen before (think—cake, pastries, chocolate fondue, tiramisu, mousse and more!). Let’s not forget about the option for a signature cocktail too! What better way to infuse a little fun and personality into your list of libations?

Onsite Ceremony Space

Unlike most venues in the area, The Lucy is home to a separate ceremony space. There’s no need to clear the room for a switch over post-wedding. Your guests will comfortably travel from the ceremony space into the cocktail hour, which overlooks your personalized table scape.
