Can we work within your budget?
VZ: While not necessarily a fun topic, it’s extremely important for couples to have a thorough discussion about your wedding budget as early on in the process as possible. Come in for an initial planning meeting with an idea of who will be contributing and how much. This question is great because it also opens up the discussion about potential services we can provide you in your budget. For example, if you really love our venue but can’t afford a premium bar or a dozen hors d’oeuvres, ask about alternative package options. Our goal is to make certain you are comfortable, relaxed and Party with Confidence!
Should I hire a wedding or event planner?
VZ: The short answer: Yes! Many wedding planners offer various levels of service that range from helping manage just the day of, to full-service event planning. A few things you can expect from a full wedding planning package are: Wedding budget management, vendor selection, décor, transportation and hospitality bags. If a wedding planner is not in your budget, rest assured our Event Specialists at Talamore will help lighten your load so you can keep your focus on the end result — getting married! You will feel welcomed and cared for throughout the entire process of your wedding planning. Do you have a list of approved or recommended vendors we can use? And do we have to use your approved vendors? If not, are there limitations or guidelines we need to meet when bringing others in?
VZ: Talamore Country Club uses an approved vendor list which was developed based on professionals with whom we have built a rapport and are known to provide a quality level of service. Having a list of events vendors you know and trust is crucial to providing our clients with peace of mind. Rather than add to the decision fatigue, many couples find it helpful to choose from a vetted list that’s come straight from their venue. Additionally, approved vendors lists often include professionals who all work great together as a team, so you can rest assured your vendors will mesh well on the day-of. If you are hosting an event at Talamore and using outside vendors, a copy of any outside vendor’s insurance policy must be provided.
