Parents, Watch Out: An American Girl Store is Coming to the Philly Area

But this pop-up location is only in town for a little.

Joining recent KOP additions such as Diane von Furstenberg and David Yurman, a Philly-area American Girl store will open in September in the King of Prussia Mall. American Girl will host grand opening events (yes, two of them) on Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th to celebrate the rope cutting of this new, King of Prussia pop-up location.

Both events will be ticketed to ensure that the crowd doesn’t get too rowdy. One hour before store opening, employees will distribute single-day entry passes to guests near their store entrance. However once they’re at capacity, no more tickets will be distributed for that day. To entice families into shopping the new store, American Girl will host a crafting session (hopefully involving glitter), and each child who visits will also receive a complimentary gift. Plus, American Girl will be giving away a free Lea Clark Girl of the Year doll and book, with a winner chosen on both Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately, this particular American Girl store is only a temporary pop-up. The dolls are scheduled to leave town on January 31, 2017, so make sure you purchase your Kits and Addys and Josefinas before then.

Details: Saturday, September 10th, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sun, September 11th, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 160 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia
