Guess what Main Liners? This week is big for retail in the area thanks to three stand-out shops. We chatted with the owners of Waltzing Matilda, Ellelauri and Duke & Winston to hear about their plans for expansion.

Waltzing Matilda, purveyors of luxury handmade leather goods and home to one of the coolest hang out spots in town, just made their presence a little bigger. Renovations just wrapped up on Waltzing Matilda’s big expansion into the retail space next door, and owner Mike Balitsaris hopes that the new, open interior will become a community space for Wayne. He’s already hosting public music circles on Wednesday nights and happy hours on Thursdays, and will begin teaching leather classes next month. (Hello, date night idea.) I also hear plans for free yoga classes in the works – now that’s a community space I can get into. 21 West Avenue, Wayne; 610-688-1500.

As if you need another reason to get excited, the local brand with a cult following, Duke & Winston, is holding a pop-up shop for November and December in Ardmore, starting this Sunday. Expect to find the brand’s signature merchandise, as well as more women’s and kid’s gear. Be sure to check them out while the pop-up lasts – if all goes well, this could be a permanent location for the brand. 4 Coulter Ave, Ardmore; 610-896-2348.

While you’re there, don’t miss Ellelauri’s pop-up location right next door. The store will hold awesome pieces from their downtown locations, starting Monday, November 2nd through December. 8 Coulter Avenue, Ardmore; 484-417-6564.

Happy shopping!
