Caviar You Can Wear: Lagos Launches a New Jewelry Collection Today

The Philly-based brand rolls out a new collection ... now.

A few weeks ago, the lovely Lagos team (did you know the company is based in Philly?) dropped by to show us a few pieces from the brand’s new fall collection, and we were instantly smitten. The pieces are totally luxe — diamonds, 18K gold — but in a wear-everyday way. There are gorgeous stackable rings (which I prefer to wear piled up to the knuckle) and more contemporary pieces, like a large pyramid-like pendant strung on a super-long silver chain. But the standouts are part of the new Black Caviar collection, a modern riff on the brand’s signature design, clusters of tiny beads that resemble the delicacy.

Instead of sterling silver, the Black Caviar pieces are crafted from black ceramic beads, each one handmade (talk about intricate work). Some feature squares of diamonds and slices of 18K gold, just enough to add interesting contrast and a flash of sparkle, and they look great worn alone or stacked. The collection has been in the works for a while, and as of this morning, the entire collection is available online.

Here’s what to look out for: the Black Caviar necklace, a short strand of the black caviar beads, which is simple and striking. (At $495, it’s also a great entry point for new collectors of the brand.) The Black Caviar bracelet is perfect for stacking; go as big (the diamond and 18K gold version, $3,000) or as minimal (a plain bracelet, $450) as you like. And the Black Caviar diamond necklace is, well, perfection ($1,700).

Hooked? You can shop the collection online or visit the Rittenhouse flagship (1735 Walnut Street).
