A quick hat-tip to my stylish pal Chaucee Stillman (she’s the one behind the blog Streets and Stripes), who introduced me to this jewelry line, via an email with lots of exclamation points and all caps. Her excitement was completely justified: One look at the website for new Philly-based jewelry line WEREGILD and I was hooked.

The designer, Marissa Oswald, was trained by Angela Monaco—you know her as the incredibly talented jewelry designer and metalsmith behind Concrete Polish Jewels and NoLibs’s Ritual Ritual boutique. Oswald designs and handmakes each piece, and they all come with a lifetime guarantee (this means they’ll replate, repair or reset a stone as long as you own a piece; a minimal fee might apply).

I’m obsessed with every piece in the minimal, geometric collection, particularly the brass talon earrings ($98, see them here), this modern brass collar ($55, see it here), and this moonstone cuff ($212, see it here).

Shop the entire collection here, and—if you want my suggestion—opt for one of the collars for a thoroughly modern addition to your jewelry box.
