Your Wednesday evening just got way more fun.

Well, this is cool: Tonight at the Art Museum, you can join the girls behind Art Star, NoLibs’s beloved art/craft/gift boutique, and the cream of Philly’s creative crop for a night of varied crafting lessons. And we’re not talking low-level tie-dye here. This is the stuff that takes off on Etsy and makes everyone dream of quitting their day jobs and taking up the art of collage.

Head to the museum’s Great Stair Hall tonight from 5pm to 8pm (admission is pay what you wish, and the crafting sesh is free!) to work your way through stations where you can learn how to cross-stitch cheeky sayings (from irreverent cross-stitch queen Chez Sucre Chez), how to screen-print (from larger-than-life artist Candy Coated), and how to weave (from awesome textile designer and knitwear designer Janell Wysock), plus sculpture, jewelry-making, paper crafts, ceramics and heat press.

More goodies to sweeten the pot: You get to take home everything you make, and Art Star will have a selection of its handmade goods there for purchase. Click here for more info.
