But there are some characteristics that distinguish the two neighborhoods’ trinities. Many of Bella Vista’s are located on pedestrian-only alleys that give their settings a European feel. And more of them are covered in stucco, which makes them look a little less elegant than their Wash West counterparts.
Most trinities in Wash West, on the other hand, still have their original brick exteriors. And they sit on the “little streets” — the interstitial streets that are just wide enough for a car to drive down them.
