Apartment List released its monthly rent report for September last week, and rents in Philadelphia fell modestly — down 0.1 percent — from July to August but rose 0.4 percent from year-ago levels.

Median rents in Doylestown fell from both year-ago and month-ago levels: the median rent for a two-bedroom apartment in and around the Bucks County seat dropped 0.4 percent from last month’s figure and 0.2 percent from last year’s.

This August, the median-priced two-bedroom apartment in and around Doylestown went for $1,630 per month. But we found only one two-bedroom apartment for rent within our $100 per month range on either side. All the other rentals on the market now are either condo units or freestanding homes. Here are all of the rentals we found in our median-rent bracket in Doylestown:

They also come with their own individual climate control systems and laundry facilities. Community amenities include a swimming pool and separate wading pool, a playground and picnic groves with barbecue grills for outdoor entertaining. This complex sits on the north edge of Doylestown Borough and has shopping within walking distance; Doylestown’s not inconsiderable attractions are also close at hand.

4881 Old Easton Rd. | 3 beds, 1 bath, 1,032 square feet, $1,600 per month. Small dogs welcome.

With three bedrooms and a spacious back yard, this house in Doylestown Township will accommodate a larger brood. It got a complete renovation in 2017 that updated its kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The three carpeted bedrooms and the main living room and dining room (half separated by a closet) all have ceiling fans, and there’s a patio out back for grilling along with some nice flower beds and planters. You’ll need to pay for the heat, electric, water and trash removal, but the owner will take care of the lawn and shovel the snow for you for no extra charge. (They’ll also pick up the tab for the sewer service.)

This house will be available for rent as of Nov. 1.

This is a classic apartment-over-the-store: rent this and you will be living on the upper two floors of an 1818 townhouse just about smack in the middle of historic Doylestown, a short walk away from both the center of the borough in one direction and its SEPTA Regional Rail station in the other. It’s the roomiest of all the units by far, with plenty of storage space, a newly renovated kitchen, an updated bathroom and spacious bedrooms. It also comes with an off-street parking space for added convenience.
