Hey you, remember around two years ago when North Bowl said they were going to be opening an enormous sister bowling center 19 East Oregon Avenue? Unless you live down in Pennsport/Whitman, frequent Tony Luke’s or commute on I-95, chances are good that you forgot about it.

Well, consider yourself shaken from your bowling slumber: North Bowl and South Bowl just posted some fine interior shots of the project on Instagram. Let’s just say that they’re the type of pictures that get us all kinds of giddy inside.

That teaser collage–featuring a wood-trimmed loft space, at least 13 bowling lanes and more– from North Bowl’s Instagram account would have been enough to sustain us for a while. That is until you pop over to South Bowl’s account to see what’s going on. Want to see the roof deck? They’ve got that for you, too:

Construction started well over a year ago to expand the former Thomas Colace Co. produce distribution site. Passyunk Post reported way back in February 2013 that plans, which actually date back to 2011, included a restaurant, batting cages, arcade games and, of course, bowling.

We’ve reached out to North Bowl to see if we can get some more details about the new complex, which looks like it’s starting to finally come together. For now, enjoy those sweet, sweet Instagram posts. We’ll keep you posted once more information becomes available.
