Villanova’s Abrahams Manor, Once Listed at More Than $7 Million, Sold at Auction for $4 Million
This extraordinary estate on 10-plus acres of Ardrossan land–formerly of the Montgomery Scott family, which inspired The Philadelphia Story–has more than 15,000 square feet, six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, tennis court, home movie theater, bar, billiards area, exercise room, wine cellar, pool and other amenities. It was first put on the market in 2011 for $7.695 million, but has been a tough sell. So it went to auction–no reserve–and sold that way for $4 million.
