They have a semi-private space capable of accommodating up to 30 guests sitting and 40 for cocktail parties, as well as a non-private bar space capable of accommodating up to 58 guests.

For a stress-free (and very cool) celebration, check out eclectic boutique Hotel Monaco, which will cover all of the background details like the decorations, menu planning and more. Whether you’re looking for a full-on event space or a more intimate gathering, they have spaces like the Lafayette Ballroom for 325 guests or their Vapor pavilion for 40 guests. Maximalist Studios offers an unmatched experience in terms of venue design as you can pick and choose every aspect of the space, all of which are accented by the white brick walls and large windows. For catering, they offer local and sustainable food options that are sure to pair well with whatever theme you go for.
2400 Market Street, Logan Circle.
The brand new Fitler Club is a totally unique space within walking distance from 30th Street Station. They offer an upscale fun package that can entertain up to 125 guests with bowling, table-tennis, classic arcade games and more. The lounge atmosphere provides for anything from a cocktail hour to a full-service catered meal. Their talented team of chefs can create delicious hor d’ oeuvres, action stations, plated meals, buffet style brunch and more.

For our foodie couples, this venue offers the most intimate of spaces to truly satisfy your palate and please the eye. Lacroix has a reputation for incredible bites, as well as incredible service, so it works as the perfect space for an event that incorporates both. They offer smaller rooms for more intimate celebrations, each with their own twist. You can opt for an intimate six-person dinner cooked directly in front of you with up to twelve courses and professionally paired wines, or a 32 person meal in one of the most exclusive event spaces in the city (the view of Rittenhouse Square from here is unmatched).

With a gleaming 27 year reputation, A Taste of Britain is prepared to offer both private bridal party dining and off-site catering. Their specialty is catered bridal shower tea parties (there, at another venue, or in the comfort of your home.) There are several menu choices available for the tea party, each with its own elegant and charming options, and they even offer a tea-tasting session to make your party that much more unique. For their in-restaurant option, they can accommodate 20-40 guests and cater to as many as you’d like at venues elsewhere.

Already boasting a reputation as a stunning wedding venue, Morris House Hotel + M Restaurant is ready to create the most enviable bridal shower for you and your guests. Their in-house event planner and seasoned chefs are prepared to make your day run smoothly and deliciously. You could opt to host in the posh Morris Library or gather your guests in the outdoor garden for a touch of greenery. For the Instagram-obsessed bride-to-be, Nicol Floral Design Studio is your shower venue dream. Words can’t do this place justice, so just take a look. As the space is primarily a flower-wall showroom, brides choose their own caterer, as well as furnish the event on their own. This open concept location can host cocktail events from 40-60 guests and is sure to have them snapping pictures throughout.

For our boho couples out there, we may have just found your dream shower space. Terrain at Styer’s offers multiple spaces to choose from, with their gorgeous outdoor gardens being some of the favorites. To go along with their green spaces, their menu offerings are all farm-to-table, so sustainability is top-of-mind. Not to mention, they can accommodate over 100 guests, so you can be sure to invite all of your closest friends and family.
138 Lancaster Ave, Devon.
For the same garden-feel at a location a fraction closer to the city, Terrain Gardens at Devon Yard is Terrain at Styer’s newest counterpart. They maintain the rustic vibes with slightly larger spaces. At the Devon Yard location, they can accommodate up to 140 sit-down guests and still offer the delicious farm-to-table menu. If the seasonally changing natural backdrop doesn’t do it for you, maybe the intimate outdoor fireplaces will seal the deal.
1 Logan Square, Logan Circle.
For our couples with the not so little inner-circles, the Logan Hotel is the venue for you. With sections of their Assembly area accommodating up to 100 guests and their Urban Farm private dining room able to seat over 20 guests, your shower is bound to be a hit. All your food and beverages are prepared on-site by their fabulous team of culinary experts, but also offer the option to bring in caterers for religious or cultural reasons. If you’re looking for a fun group activity or just a way to treat your closest friends to a little something extra, the Logan also offers group fitness classes and treatments.

If you’re looking for a food-centric shower location, Cook is the place. (They’ve got a different chef working every day and completely customizable private event menus.) Cook provides for more intimate events of 16-22 guests, giving you the opportunity to dine with your closest friends or family. You and your guests can opt to watch the chef prepare your meal with the opportunity to ask them questions along the way, or you could decide to make your event a hands-on experience. There is also the option to add a pre-event reception with sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres to give your guests the ultimate experience.
3420 Sansom Street, University City.
For a sustainable menu full of locally sourced organic items that are sure to satisfy your guests, White Dog Café is the venue for you. They offer a menu that changes seasonally to ensure the freshest of quality ingredients and can work with events of up to 55 guests. They offer plenty of different spaces to fit whatever theme you have in mind, whether you’re looking for a light and green space like the Solarium or a dark, more intimate location like the Wine Cellar. Freida is a relaxed venue with the goal of bringing together people from different generations to help everyone better understand and connect with each other. Your shower can range from a casual and conversational affair to an event full of educational opportunities. They can accommodate up to 50 guests for sit-down events and up to 100 for cocktail.

If you’re already a fan of Michael Schulson’s well-known Harp & Crown menu, then The Elbow Lane will be right up your alley. Nestled in the basement of the stylish restaurant is a full-service lounge, cocktail bar, and two-lane bowling alley that’s perfect for an intimate (and fun) event. Not only does it provide the full menu of the restaurant, but it also gives you and your guests the opportunity to bowl a few games to really liven up the function.

Their garden area can seat over 100 guests and their Liaison and Library rooms can accommodate up to 100 seated guests.

Teca Newtown Square offers four spaces of varying capacities that can accommodate up to 150 guests. With spaces that include the light and airy Veranda, the cozy and intimate Wine Cellar, the classic Verona Room, and the charming Farm Room, there is surely an option for everyone. For an intimate affair with less than 14 guests you can take over the chefs counter, and with up to 75 guests you can buy out the entire restaurant for the evening. As an esteemed restaurant, the food is already the highlight of this venue. Whether you want an ala carte menu, a raw bar package, artisanal cheese and charcuterie, or just some good old hand-selected wine, Cornerstone is ready to provide it.
