"Our historic ballroom has seen its share of parties! The windows date to 1879, the playful plaster chandeliers are from the 1950's. The original floor, which was preserved in our 2002 renovation, is painted in a checkered pattern and its well-worn patina is a signature part of a room where people have been dancing since the late 1800's. When it comes to preserving the look, a little extra TLC is required!" Our team recently spent 362 man hours over 8 days to repaint this beautiful floor by hand. Historic preservation is a labor of love- one that we're proud to pour our hearts & souls into here at Congress Hall. Photo and quote via our team at @caperesortsweddings
