These are the Undergarments You Should Wear Underneath Your Wedding Dress

We’re very fortunate to have a lovely selection of lingerie boutiques here in Philly where you can scoop up a few lacy underthings to wear on your wedding night and honeymoon—or beneath your dress for your walk down the aisle.
It’s that last part, though—the undergarments that you’ll actually wear underneath your dress—that can get a bit tricky: Depending on the style of your gown, there are different bras, panties, slips and fancy contraptions that’ll do the best job of smoothing and supporting everything so that you look even that much more beautiful in your dream gown.
This guide does a really nice job of summing up exactly which undergarments you should be wearing, based on your gown style (low-cut, off-the-shoulder, backless, etc.). We’re particularly pleased that the article touched on lingerie-inspired illusion gowns (you’ll want to nab a matching slip and seamless bodysuit), which are incredibly popular this season and a trend we’re touching on in our next issue (which comes out this month!).
