6 Guys Dish on What Really Happens at Bachelor Parties
Let’s be real: There’s no bachelor party that’ll ever come close to resembling the utter debauchery known as The Hangover. Sure, it’s a very entertaining movie—though we could do without the sequels—but there’s no denying that it takes bachelor party stereotypes to the utmost of extremes. (On second thought, has there ever been an on-screen bachelor party that isn’t extreme and unrealistic? If you can think of one, let us know.)
The truth of the matter is that bachelor parties, despite their scandalous reputation, are much more low-key (and dare we say meaningful?) nowadays than many of us would expect—that’s according to six candid guys who revealed what really goes down when they’re celebrating a groom-to-be.
The consensus seems to be that bachelor parties are no longer approached as a guy’s “last night as a free man,” but instead are considered an opportunity for the groom to have a quality, memorable experience with his closest pals.
No tattoos, strippers or phone calls from jail? That’s something we can all get behind.
