Picture of the Week: Get Me to the Church Still Dry

Erika and Drew’s took place just before Hurricane Joaquin, but you know how the story goes—rain on your wedding day means extra good luck!
To our surprise when we arrived at the church, all of the groomsmen lined up with umbrellas to create a covered walkway for the bridesmaids, family members and Erika so that they would have a seamlessly dry entry to the church. After seeing such a chivalrous act of kindness, from that point on I don’t think anyone minded the rain. It actually offered unique opportunities to capture really different images.
