The other night I found myself curled up in bed watching Think Like a Man Too, which, if you haven’t seen it, follows the crew from Think Like a Man as they head to Vegas for two of the characters’ wedding. Their bachelor and bachelorette parties make up most of the story line, and, as you can imagine, it’s pretty stereotypical: strip clubs, gambling, bottle service, an overnight stay in jail.

Sounds pretty standard, right (minus the jail part, we hope)? While these activities may be common among bridal parties of the twentysomething set, that type of party isn’t for everybody—especially if you’re well past the days of dancing with strangers in dark clubs until the wee hours of the morning. The good news: There are plenty of grown-up (read: calmer) options to consider for your bachelorette, too.

Condé Nast Traveler presented these five travel ideas, for example, which were designed for brides in search of a more mature bachelorette experience. On the list you’ll find itineraries for outings in Sonoma Valley, California and the under-the-radar town of Tecate, Mexico, among others. Take a look and let us know what you think; we’ll be over here daydreaming about the St. Regis Princeville Resort.
