WHAT: The Same-Sex Wedding Expo 

WHEN: Sunday, November 1, 12-3:30 pm

WHERE: 100 Continental Drive, Newark

WHY: LGBT brides and grooms, listen up: This Delaware event will be loaded with ideas and inspiration for your Big Day. Over 50 local vendors will have their talents on display (including pros with legal advice) and you’ll be able to check it all out while snacking on hors d’oeuvres, wedding cake and signature cocktails. Plus, there will be a fashion show filled with the latest in bridal gowns and men’s formalwear.

COST: Tickets are $10 at the door; $5 discount tickets and $20 bridal party passes available online.

WHO: Talamore Country Club

WHAT: The Tie the Knot Wedding Showcase

WHEN: Sunday, November 1, 12-4 pm

WHERE: 723 Talamore Drive, Ambler

WHY: This event out in the ‘burbs has everything you need to plan your wedding, and then some. You’ll mingle with 50 Philly-area vendors, enjoy a variety of food and cake tastings, and test out makeup and hair looks for your Big Day. Expert speakers will be on hand to answer your questions and there will be a ton of gowns and tuxes to look through, too. (Good to note: Last year they gave away 13 Talamore Club memberships.)
