Jeremy Renner Gives Lesson to Other Celebs On How Not to Crash a Wedding
We have seen quite a few celebs crash quite a few weddings in our day. And most of the time, these are events are completely delightful! The celeb is usually, if not a little apologetic, at least completely aware of the fact that, although famous, they are actually not an invited guest. They’ll say their hellos and goodbyes quickly, frequently after taking some pictures, shaking some hands—sometimes, after performing!—and generally be very good sports about the whole situation. (See: Bill Murray, Roger Daltrey, Serena Williams, Maroon 5, to name a few.)
Apparently, Jeremy Renner didn’t get the Genial Celebrity’s Guide to Crashing Weddings.
According to the outlet’s “spies,” he spent his crashing time at the bar, where he happily partook of the newlywed couple’s provided alcohol, and then promptly refused to take any pictures with them. He told TMZ that hiding at the bar was his move in order to not upstage the bride and groom, which definitely makes sense given that the other option was, you know, not entering their wedding at all. Stars—they’re just like us!
