If saying I Do while sailing aboard a cruise ship sounds like an ideal scenario for you and your to-be, you’ll be thrilled to hear the news that Norwegian Cruise Line is now hosting legal wedding ceremonies at sea.

Beginning this month, the Bahamas will be issuing marriage licenses to couples who choose to tie the knot while aboard the Norwegian Getaway (which sails from Miami) and the Norwegian Breakaway (based in New York).

Norwegian’s “Wedding at Sea” package begins at $2,199 and includes a ceremony performed by the ship’s captain, a bridal bouquet and matching boutonniere, a champagne toast, wedding cake and much more. Plus, each couple will have access to one of Norwegian’s on-site wedding coordinators.

If you’d rather get hitched on dry land, Norwegian also offers an assortment of destination wedding experiences in beautiful locations all over the world.

The “Wedding at Sea” package will also be available on the Norwegian Escape when it launches in Miami in November.
