Learn How to Make Fresh Flower Necklaces and Sashes for Your Wedding at Flowers & Co.’s Wearbles Workshop!
You guys know that we can’t get enough of floral accessories around here (remember this to-die-for necklace?), so we were super pumped when we just heard that Rittenhouse’s Flowers & Co. is going to host a Wearables Workshop next week inside their sweet 19th Street shop!
The workshop is happening on Wednesday, April 1st from 6:30-8:30pm, and there are 12 spots up for grabs. There, you’ll be able to choose whether you’d like to whip up a beautiful fresh flower necklace or sash, and then owner Nadine Louw—who says she has definitely seen a jump in brides requesting wearable flowers for their weddings—and her team will teach you how to make it.
They’ll provide a variety of flowers, plus either the sash itself or the necklace base plus all the supplies you need, and you’ll leave with your pretty piece—and the know-how to do it again, whether you’re considering a flower accessory for yourself on your wedding day, or to adorn your ‘maids. (And Louw assures me that you needn’t be super duper crafty for this—”No wiring, stem-wrapping or anything—just cut, glue and paste! Flowers by number, really.”—but that an eye for composition always helps.)
Tickets cost $75, which includes the workshop, all the supplies and flowers, plus snacks and beverages. Get them here—and let us know how you make out!
