Video: Roger Daltrey of The Who Crashes Wedding, Joins Band Onstage

Much to the thrill, awe and joy of this just-married Scottish couple, all of their guests, and maybe most especially their band, Mr. Roger Daltrey of The Who stumbled upon a wedding in the hotel he was staying at in Scotland over the weekend, and decided to come on in.

He told the band he could hear them from outside the room, thought they were fab (I’m paraphrasing, here) and had to come inside to check them out—and as you can imagine, that was pretty much fine with everybody at the wedding.

Then, he asked the band if they wanted to do a song, and at that point, everybody was pretty much beside themselves:

I imagine that at 9.5 out of 10 weddings he’d be a welcome crasher either way, but what a good sport to actually hang and do a song and not just steal the limelight for a few minutes and then bounce back out! That’ll be a story that won’t ever get old.
