Picture of the Week: Time to Celebrate!

I had asked Jaclyn & BJ if they were interested in doing a unique shot where they would group together with their wedding party and then pop the cork on a bottle of champagne, spraying it towards me. Obviously, they were game!
I asked BJ if he remembered spraying the hose as a kid, the way you had to cover about three-quarters of the opening with your thumb so as to manipulate where the water sprayed—and with that, he shook the bottle full speed, popped the cork, and mission accomplished: they successfully smothered me in alcohol! I had asked him to try and spray over my head and he got me directly on my head—but a photographer will go to great lengths to get a memorable picture, and it’s certainly nothing a little dry cleaning and camera cleaning couldn’t fix.
