So, I was going through many a bridal designer’s Spring 2014 collection of wedding gowns for a section of the upcoming issue of Philadelphia Wedding when I noticed something: Bridal designers sent cap-sleeved wedding dresses down the runways this season like whoa.

I happen to love the look—a little different than just your regular spaghetti or halter strap; a lot different than strapless—there’s also just something so pretty, feminine, and, well, bridal about it.

And these designers are all totally taking gorgeous advantage of these itty-bitty extensions of fabric: they’re lace, they’re illusion, they’re ethereal tulle, they’re sparkly, they’re embellished. They’re not just hanging out aimlessly on your shoulders not doing anybody any good.

And so, we rounded up some of the looks we were loving here for you, in case you’re into the cap-sleeved wedding-dress look, too. Because if you are and you’re about to go dress shopping? Oh my goodness, are you in luck.

Which one’s your fave?
