Philly Mag’s Events & Promotions Best of Philly’s 40th Anniversary! Here’s What Brides Need to Know
Hey, all! So you know Philly mag’s Best of Philly? Annual (August) issue in which we pick the best of the best in basically every life category—style, shopping, food, fun, family stuff, service, etc., etc.? Well, it is the 40th year of such issues, and for that, there is going to be much celebration.
From today until August 20th (on which day there will be a large party that you can come to! But more on that later …), there will be 40 various events and promotions to celebrate this anniversary, some of which, my dear brides, you will be quite interested to know about.
Until the aforementioned big party, I’ll be posting here each week about those events and promotions that will interest you, to make sure that you are in the know about some awesome deals to be had around town, and fun little parties to attend. So be sure to check them out and share them with your buds who will totally want to shop and go out and about with you—um, not to mention your groom (there’s stuff for him, too!)—and you’re sure to have a really awesome time for the next several weeks.
Let’s start with these …
- From July 17th until August 6th, if you mention “Best of Philly,” you can take a dance class for free (a $20 value) at Society Hill Dance Academy. You can see the whole list of available classes here; just remember that reservations are required. (Be sure to read owner Shana Vitoff’s tips for a super fab first dance here before you do!)
- We’ve told you about “Champagne Sundays” at Pilates studio Ploome in NoLibs before—and now, between July 17th and August 20th, our readers can take a class here for $10 bucks! (Limit one per customer.) Use promo code “BestofPhilly” through their website.
- Mention “Best of Philly,” and you’ll get $25 off the normally $125 signature Sonya Dakar Micro Venom Anti-aging Facial at super cute Blossom Cosmetic Boutique in Newtown.
Oh, and that big party we mentioned? Yeah, it’s the annual Best of Philly bash—except this year, for the first time in many, many years, it’s open to the public! August 20th at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Be there.
Get more info on all of the events—and buy tix to the things that require buying tix—right here. Pass it along! See ya out there.
