Serve A Pie Bar At Your Wedding From South Street’s New Magpie Artisan Pies

You'll want to include them all.

She’s got nothing against cake. It’s just that Holly Ricciardi comes from a pie family: Her great-grandmother made pie, her grand-mother made pie, her mom made pie. … Now Holly’s taking her turn at the family staple, offering up both sweet and savory renditions from her South Street bakery Magpie, set to open later this summer. And because she can’t think of a more fitting dessert to share with family and friends on special occasions—“Pie makes you feel loved!”—she’ll gladly create a pie bar (best served with vanilla ice cream) or even a custom groom’s pie for your Big Day.

Just don’t expect blueberry pie at your January wedding: Holly bakes with as many local, seasonal ingredients as she can get her hands on, so you might embrace the season with flavors like butter caramel apple, butterscotch bourbon custard or chocolate coffee pecan. 1622 South Street. —Bridget Salmons
