Great Honeymoon Getaway Deals

Our latest batch of great deals on covet-worthy romantic escapes.

Hi, future honeymooners! Some really cool resorts out there are offering some sweet deals that we definitely think should be on your radar. Plus, it’s oh-so-tempting to imagine being on a tropical beach right now, isn’t it? Hope this helps narrow your planning! Here are a few deals we’ve got our eye on …

• The new, super-luxe Scrub Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands has put together a Storybook Romance honeymoon package, available between April 1st and December 15th. Starting at $5,010 (including taxes and fees), you’ll get six nights in ocean-view accommodations, with a seventh night thrown in as a wedding gift from the resort; airport transfers and unlimited ferry access to nearby Tortola Trellish Bay; fresh juice and rum on arrival, plus a his-and-hers welcome gift (like a tote bag with sunscreen, towels, and resort gear); an Anegada Island day trip for two, including lunch and drinks on the boat; one champagne sunset viewing; one 90-minute couple’s massage; daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the resort’s restaurants (along with “location dining” — think meal delivery to anywhere on the island); use of kayaks, snorkel gear, fitness center and hiking trails; and personal concierge service.

• If you’re looking to keep it domestic but still have a hot honeymoon, you’re pretty much guaranteed to find heat in Miami. The newly renovated Dorchester Hotel is a boutique property, and their Romance Getaway Package is available through the end of the year. For $299 plus tax per night, you’ll get accommodations in a newly remodeled Jacuzzi suite; a bottle of champagne in your room upon arrival; two welcome drink coupons; and two American breakfast coupons. Use code ROMANCE if booking online.

The Ceiba del Mar Resort along Mexico’s Riviera Maya has just put together a spa package getaway called the Harmony Detox Special, designed to rejuvenate and rebalance the mind and body. Featuring four of their traditional Mayan spa’s treatments — the 70-minute Mayan massage, a 50-minute reflexology treatment, a 30-minute energetic evaluation, and a 45-minute foot bath detox — the package also includes, with the European food plan, six nights in a Deluxe room; complimentary in-room coffee service; yoga and Aqua fitness classes; kayaking; and a diving clinic — all for $954 per room. With the Luxury Gourmet plan, you get all of the above, plus all beverages, both alcoholic and non; and all meals, for $1,904 per room.
