Coming to Temple University this spring: Joe Biden.

Temple announced via social media[1] on Wednesday night that its “spring celebrity speaker” will be Biden. The former vice president and University of Pennsylvania prof[2] (who is rumored[3] to be considering a 2020 presidential run) will visit the school on April 11th.

Here’s the bad news for Biden-lovers: The event is open to students only. Students will need their IDs to get tickets and enter the event, which is free. No guests allowed.

Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the event will begin at 8 p.m.

Temple has hosted celebrity speakers over the past few years, including Trevor Noah and Common. But we get the idea that students are especially excited for Biden.
