Where Is Todd McKee?

The partner of Welcome America head Jeff Guaracino has been reported missing in Rehoboth Beach.

Rehoboth Beach police are searching for Todd McKee.

This is a developing story.

The Rehoboth Beach Police Department has issued an alert for missing man Todd McKee, the partner of Welcome America president Jeff Guaracino, who was in charge of Philadelphia 4th of July festivities.

“I want to please ask that people keep my partner and my love Todd McKee in your hearts, your thoughts, and your prayers,” wrote Guaracino on Facebook on Wednesday morning. “I am so grateful to everyone for their support and friendship. Todd is missing and our hearts ache until we hear from him.”

According to Rehoboth Beach Police, McKee apparently left his home on the 300 block of South Boardwalk in the Delaware beach town on Saturday night just after 10 p.m. On Tuesday, police used boats and helicopters in their search for McKee. As of Wednesday morning, investigators said there is no indication of foul play.

Police describe him as follows:

McKee is a white male, 50 years of age, 6’02” tall, 220lbs., red hair, and blue eyes. McKee was last seen wearing blue glasses, a black, collared, short sleeve, polo style shirt and blue shorts with white pockets and stripes on both sides.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, investigators said that “there is a real concern for his safety and welfare.”

“The Gayborhood is completely upside down over this,” says one prominent member of Philadelphia’s LGBT community. “Todd is connected to a Who’s Who of Gay Philly.”

Police are asking that anyone with information on McKee — especially anyone who might have had contact with him after 10:15 p.m. on Saturday — get in touch with Detective Tyler Whitman at 302-324-1391. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via 800-847-3333 or through this site.
