Police say a 16-year-old girl who was struck by a CSX freight train in Southwest Philadelphia this afternoon is in critical condition.
The girl was reportedly walking on railroad tracks near 56th Street and Grays Avenue around 2 p.m. when she was struck by the train. CB3 reports that she lost her right leg and that her right leg was crushed in the incident.
She was rushed to the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.
