For its star-studded appeal and booze-worthy politics, this week’s LGBTQ event of the week is the Liberty City Democratic Club’s LGBT Bar Tour. In what looks like a promising Gayborhood tradition, the prolific get-out-the-vote election bar crawl will have former governor Ed Rendell hitting the tap with candidates like U.S. Senate hopeful Katie McGinty and other Liberty City–endorsed candidates. But it’s not just politics as usual over cocktails as celebrity special guests Debra Messing and Cyndi Lauper will be joining the party as well. The pub crawl begins on Friday night at 9:30 p.m. at Knock (225 South 12th Street) with 30-minutes stops at Tabu, UBar, Tavern on Camac, Woodys, and Boxers along the way.
