WATCH: Burglars Swipe $400,000 in Jewelry From Barsky Diamonds

Two thieves broke into Barsky Diamonds on Jewelers Row the morning before Valentine’s Day and stole an estimated $400,000 worth of jewelry, Philadelphia Police said. Cops today released surveillance video of the break-in.

An officer from the sixth district responded to a burglary alarm at Barsky Diamonds at 724 Sansom Street in Center City at 2:24 a.m. on February 13th. The security gate was up and the door was unlocked. The place had been ransacked.

Video shows two men, dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks, gaining entrance to Barsky and swiping a bunch of jewelry from display cases.

Anyone with information is asked to call Central Detectives at 215-686-3093 or 215-686-3094. Anonymous tips can also be called into 215.686.8477, texted to 773847 or submitted online. Police say all tips are confidential.
