WATCH: Police Seek Queen Village Tire Slashers
Police are seeking two men they believe to be responsible for a late-July tire-slashing spree in Queen Village.
Thirty vehicles were vandalized early the morning of July 26th, all of them in the 100 and 300 block of Queen Street and the 800 block of South Swanson and South Third streets.
There are two suspects, seen grinning in the above video as they methodically make their way down the street with a quick puncture to each car’s rear curbside tire: One man is thin, had or has a beard, appears to have tattoos on his arms, chest, and back, was wearing a knit cap and was in possession of the knife used to slash the tires. He was accompanied by a clean-shaven friend, wearing a short-sleeve and camouflage pants. Both are described as being of “unknown race.”
Anyone with information about these suspects can call 911, dial 215-686-TIPS (8477), or text a tip PPD TIP (773847). Informants can also call the South Detective Division 215-685-3013 and 215-685-3104.
