Daily News Names First Transgender Woman to “Sexy Singles” List

Kayla Vasilakos, a South Philly radio personality, has been named to the Daily News‘ “Sexy Singles” list this year. Ms. Vasilakos is the first transgender person ever to receive the honor.

The Daily News had this to share about the pick:

“She’s been living as Kayla since 2006 and lights up the room with her megawatt smile and energy. ‘I was a volunteer firefighter. I was in law enforcement. I got tired of living a lie within myself. And at the end of the day, what’s more important than yourself?'”
