Baseball fans, take note: This Thursday, July 30th is the 13th Annual Gay Community Night at the Phillies, and even if you aren’t a huge sports fan, you’re invited to take part in the festivities.

The Philadelphia Voices of Pride will be singing the National Anthem before the 7:05 pm game between the Phillies and the Braves. If 500 tickets are sold before Thursday, someone from Philly’s LGBT community will throw out the first pitch (I sure has heck hope they don’t ask me!).

Tickets are either $20 or $30 depending on where you want to sit at Citizens Bank Park, and handicap accessible seating is available. Proceeds from the evening will go towards the Sean Halpin Memorial Scholarship Fund.

You can purchase your seats by visiting this website, or by calling Colleen at (215) 463-5000.
