Former President Jimmy Carter will sign books Friday at the Free Library.

The appearance — there will be no lecture, Q&A, or full interview, though he may take a few questions — is scheduled to start around noon Friday at the Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine.

Carter, a prolific author since exiting the presidency, is promoting his newest book, A Full Life, a description of his life and reflections at the age of 90. He served as president from 1977 to 1981, and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
