The Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance, the Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation, and Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced that the annual Miss’d America Pageant has found a new home, right at Borgata. The event, which will take place on Saturday, September 26 at 8:30 pm, features Carson Kressley as the fabulous host (and a TBA musical guest).

The yearly contest, which started in 1994, took a 5 year hiatus and returned back to AC in 2010. The event is, quite clearly, a satirical spoof on the famous Miss America pageant, where wanna-be queens are judged in swimwear, talent, and evening gown competitions. All the fun is for a good cause: Proceeds from this year’s pageant will be divided between the Greater AC GLBT Alliance and the Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation.

Tickets for the event at Borgata’s Music Box range from $65 to $100; the $100 ticket includes admission to pre- and post-pageant parties at mur.mur nightclub. For tickets and more information, visit the Borgata’s webpage.
