Tomorrow night, Tabu and Stonewall Sports are joining forces for a shindig to raise funds for Stonewall’s upcoming season of kickballing, volleyballing and team selfie-taking.

It’s called Heroes vs. Villains, and as you might expect it’s a costume party asking guests to come dressed as their favorite superhero or bad guy.

The organizers—Tabu event manager Ian Morrison and Stonewall’s Justin Nordell among them—have planned a creative evening of activities that steer away from your regular night out at Tabu. There’s a “Watchtower,” for instance, where they’ll place you if you’ve broken “criminal violations.” The only way you can get out is if you perform “a sexy super act of heroics.” I’m guessing heavy thrusting or some booty-twerking might do the trick.

There will also be performances by Brittany Lynn’s Drag Mafia and The Stonewall League of Super Gays throughout the night. It’s all good silly fun—and for a good cause if you’re into LGBT-centric athletics in the city. And why wouldn’t you be?

We’re performing our superhero deed for the day, and giving away a pair of tickets to someone and his/her favorite sidekick. To win, all you need to do is be the first person to email me at jmiddleton@phillymag.com with the name of the superhero or villain you’d most like to boink. If I get enough responses, I’ll share them in a blog post or on social media for your amusement. Good luck!

Heroes vs. Villains takes place on Saturday, April 18th at 9 pm at Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar. Tickets are $8 (in costume) or $10 (out of costume). More information can be found here.
