Stabbing at La Salle Dining Hall Sends 1 to Hospital

A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the chest at La Salle University's Blue and Gold Dining Hall this afternoon.

A stabbing at La Salle University’s Blue and Gold Dining Hall sent one person to the hospital. Police say the man was stabbed in chest. Fox 29 reports the victim is 26-years-old. A La Salle spokesperson told Philly.com the victim was an ice cream vendor who was stabbed while making a delivery.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. on Monday. The campus was placed on lockdown at that time; it was lifted about an hour later.

The victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center. La Salle reported the perpetrator was a white male in his 20s wearing a blue La Salle sweatshirt and red baseball cap.
