We Built This City

Meet the Queer Urbanist Exchange (QUE), which works to "bring together urban design professionals and enthusiasts to meet, network and discuss topics affecting our lives in Philadelphia." For their first networking mixer, they've put together an urban-themed sing-along. Expect songs, such as "We Built This City on Rock and Roll," about designing urban life. When folks aren't singing, there will also be time to "meet, network and discuss topics affecting our lives in Philadelphia." Women's History Month: Discussion and Networking

In honor of Women's History Month, Independence Business Alliance is presenting a discussion with women leaders of Philadelphia. Moderated by Maiken Scott, behavioral health reporter and host of WHYY's The Pulse, panelists will include: Helen “Nellie” Fitzpatrick (pictured), the newly appointed director of the City of Philadelphia's Department of LGBT Affairs; Betty Long from Guardian Nurses Healthcare Advocates; J’nelle Clements, a supplier diversity manager at AstraZeneca; and Laura Sicola, PhD, founder of Vocal Impact Productions. Songbird Season 3 Finale

After weeks of watching singers of Philadelphia perform, we will finally find out who will be season 3's Songbird. Six finalists are left—Tara Hendricks, Jeremy Adam, Kaleia, Joey Gallagher, Alyssa Canalichio, and Robert Alexander—but only one will walk away with the title and bragging rights of being named best singer in Philadelphia. OurNightOut at The Barnes Foundation

Delaware Valley Legacy Fund is teaming with Mazzoni Center for their next OurNightOut, which is taking place at the gorgeous Barnes Foundation. DVLF Executive Director Samantha Giusti says the group has the entire space for the evening, so folks can mingle while enjoying all the galleries and making network connections for the future. Proud Marys a Diva Sing-Along

Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus are inviting everyone to join in their latest three-day event, where they invite you to join them in a sing-along of songs by our favorite divas. It's your chance to showcase your vocal talents—or just sit back and watch the pros take over as they reinterpret diva classics over the years. Tickets can be bought here. SAGEWorks Career Fair

If you're interested in changing your career or looking for one, William Way Center is opening its doors to host over 20 LGBT-friendly companies who will be there to meet and offer advice to potential employers. During the day there will be workshops to help you increase your chances of getting the job you want. Register here for the event. Tangle presents Tell It Slant

Nine aerial artists paint a story about friendship and the drama that comes with it. This all-female cast of circus artists will display their trust in one another through their acts in the air and along the tightrope. Buy your tickets here for the three-day event. Brittany Lynn's Birthday Roast

This Friday is Brittany Lynn's birthday, and to celebrate some of her naughtiest pals are banding together to roast our tallest queen. Among the roasters will be Pissy Myles, Lili StQueer, Lynn drag daughter Jared Ben, and Bearlesque founder Connor Michalchuk. It's going to be a fun night of watchng some of our funniest talents read each other to filth—then watching Brittany get her revenge, which you know she always does. Day Party: Saint Patty's Edition

Before the Philadelphia Gryphons host their Shamrocks and Jocks night event (see next slide), Boxers is celebrating with an after Tea Dance of sorts. Philadelphia Gryphons are hosting their third annual Shamrocks and Jocks fundraiser at Boxers PHL this year. Besides all the paling around and Jello-shotting, the team is asking for donations that will benefit their efforts to attend the Bingham Cup 2016 in Nashville.
