Florence Henderson Has a New Job in Philadelphia

The woman who played Carol Brady is now selling medical alert systems.

Forty years after the original Brady Bunch series was cancelled, Florence Henderson, the actress who played mom Carol Brady on the show, has signed on as the spokesperson for Medical Guardian, a medical alert company (Think: “I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!”) based in Philadelphia.

The Center City company was founded by Shipley School graduate Geoff Gross in 2005 and posted revenues of $10.9 million in 2013.

“Florence is truly America’s Favorite Mom and in so many ways, she embodies everything we’re looking for in a spokesperson,” said Gross in a statement.

Medical Guardian just released this commercial featuring Henderson, who is 80 and lives alone.
