After Tuesday’s Election, Government in PA is a Real Sausage Fest

With Schwartz gone, the boys' club is full of … boys.

“Pennsylvania is set to become the largest all-male delegation in Congress this November as a result of Tuesday night’s primary races,” Huffington Post reports.

“Pennsylvania sends 20 senators and representatives to Congress each year, and Rep. Allyson Schwartz (D) is currently the only woman in the group. Schwartz gave up her seat this year to run for governor, but lost in the Democratic primary on Tuesday to businessman Tom Wolf. Wolf will challenge incumbent Gov. Tom Corbett (R) in November.”

Four states have bigger delegations, the HuffPost reports, but Pennsylvania will be the biggest with only dudes. Brendan Boyle beat Marjorie Margolies in the race to fill Schwartz’s vacated seat.
