SNL Spoofs Patriot-News Gettysburg Address Retraction

Last week, the Patriot-News published a humorous (but also serious) retraction of the negative review they gave Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address 150 years ago. On Saturday night, the piece’s “author” Jebidiah Atkinson, played by Taran Killam, showed up on “Weekend Update” (per The Simpsons, isn’t the Jebidiah-as-old-timey-name joke a little played out?) to pan it again. also took down JFK, FDR, Martin Luther King, Jr., and everyone else you can think of. Sample zing: “Let’s be honest Abe, you dropped a real Lincoln log.”
