Philadelphia Soul Heads Back to the Arena Bowl, Are Apparently Very Good

Embarrassingly, we’d missed that the Philadelphia Soul were playing again. (The Arena Football League took a year off a few years ago.) Also, we missed that they’re good again.

Dan Raudabaugh led Philadelphia to the Arena Bowl, throwing eight touchdown passes to help the Soul beat the Jacksonville Sharks 75-59 on Saturday night in the American Conference championship.

The Soul will face the defending champion Arizona Rattlers on Friday night in Orlando, Fla., in a rematch of last year’s title game.

Seriously. Who knew?
