Will Bunch Maybe Isn’t Happy With Today’s Daily News.

He writes: “Story complaing about high city taxes (even as it shutters schools and lays off thousands of school workers)? Check. Conservative columnist praising the wisdom of our corporatist Supreme Court? Check. In lifestyle news…hey, that Paula Deen’s not really so bad, is she? I’d like to give a special thanks to today’s guest editor, Sean Hannity.”

The Daily News hasn’t been usually known for its conservative bent—Will Bunch works there, after all. (I’ve always thought it self-consciously populist instead of having any real ideological direction.) Is this the sign of a changing outlook under the new management?
