Photos: Hilarious Pics of PGMC Rehearsing for ExtrABBAganza

Check out the inspired dancing queens as they ready for their weekend long ABBA performances.

If these rehearsal photos are any indication, the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus’s spring production, ExtrABBAganza, is going to be one fabulous, gay good time. But that’s pretty much a given when it involves a setlist full of ABBA’s greatest hits, right? All that’s missing is the ’70s, cheese-tastic costumes, and PGMC’s Paul Fontaine is staying pretty mum on that subject. All he hints is that dancers will “be in gold.” I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that there may be a pair of hotpants or six in the house.

You can check out these inspired dancing queens Thursday and Friday, May 16 and 17 at 8 p.m., and Sat., May 18 at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. at Prince Music Theater (1412 Chestnut St.) For $30-$55 tickets, go here.
