Go Get Your Free Pretzel Factory Pretzels for National Pretzel Day
Today…is National Pretzel Day. The holiday was first “declared” in 1983 by former Pennsylvania Congressman Robert Walker. But apparently it just wasn’t declared hard enough, so Ed Rendell declared it again in 2003, according to Synders of Hanover, which has gone all out for the celebration. While every day is Pretzel Day in Pennsylvania (evidenced by the guy I saw yesterday eating one slathered with mustard yesterday at 8 a.m.), you can get one for free today at the Pretzel Factory. Now if you’re reading this right now you may be too late, but if you’re one of the first 100 in line, you can get one for free every day in May. Every. Single. Day.
